Feldman 9/30/1986 Rev. 8/18/1987 This easy/intermediate-level circle dance has two parts. The music has six counts per measure. There is a 24-count introduction. Part 1: Begin facing center; hands are joined at waist level except when turning. 1: Step to right with R. 2: Cross L in front of R. 3: Step to right and sway right. 4-6: Sway left, right, and left. 7-8: Two-step turn to the left (CCW) with R-L. 9-12: Mayim R (traveling to left): Cross R in front of L, step to left with L, cross R behind L, and step to left with L. 13: Step forward on R (bending right knee slightly). 14-15: Close L to R (i.e. bring L forward, placing it next to R), and step on R in place. These two steps are on toes. 16-18: Reverse of 13-15: Step back on L, close R to L, and step on L in place. 19-21: Three-step turn to the right (CW) with R-L-R. 22-24: Backward Yemenite left: Step back onto L, shift weight forward to R, and step forward with L). 25-48: Repeat 1-24. Part 2: Drop hands and turn to face CCW around circle. 1: Step forward with R and slowly swing both arms up and to right. 2-3: Close L to R and take a small step forward with R. These two steps are on toes. Let arms "float down" on 3. 4-6: Mirror image of 1-3: Continue forward with L-R-L, swinging arms up and to left on 4. 7-9: Two-step half turn to right with R-L and step backwards on R. 10-12: (Facing CW) step back on L, close R to L, and step fwd. with L. 13-24: Repeat 1-12, except that direction of travel is opposite. 25: Pause and clap hands (this is an `extra' beat in the music). 26-50: Repeat 1-25. Ending: Finish by repeating counts 1-12 of part 1.
