Man does not live by bread alone.

Art (Visual Arts)

Dr. Phillip M. Feldman

Painting is perhaps the most refined of the fine arts, and algorithmic art is arguably the purest form of computer art. In these two pages, I present some of favorite paintings, along with selected works of algorithmic art of my own creation.

I've juxtaposed material on computer-generated and human-created art here simply because this seemed like the most logical way to organize the material. I'm not suggesting a comparison of the two; each should be appreciated on its own terms.

I'm proud to be able to say that, as of January 4, 2016, all of the photographs of paintings are both higher resolution and better quality than anything else currently available on the Web.
